My current fixed term contract at the University of Glasgow is coming to an end so I am seeking new employment. I am happy to consider permanent and contract positions that are fully remote or hybrid in the Glasgow area.

I can program in Java and Python, and understand code in C. C++ and C# well enough to debug programs. While most of my experience is in geospatial analysis, I can also carry out data analysis of all types of data. I have experience in teaching web mapping and cartography to university students and to small groups of (mainly) public sector employees. For GIS roles I am an expert in QGis, GeoServer, PostGIS rather than their proprietary equivalents.
